I don't know if I love Richard Curtis more for his movies, his writing, or his epic charity efforts with the likes of Comic Relief, but his latest movie *eeeee!* The more I see the more I like. Am smiling already - this film looks FUN :D

Sam Mendes is to direct the movie Preacher based on the Garth Ennis comics. I've never read them but didn't see this coming! That said, Mendes did direct Road to Perdition which is based on a comic so I'm told.

Today I've been watching lots of comedy. missy_manic introduced me over the week to Garth Marenghi's Darkplace which has had me cracking up. All the cast are brilliant, but the hideously bad acting of Dean Learner makes me giggle every time.
